While it may have been written 14 centuries ago, the letter Khalifah Ali ibn Abi Talib wrote to Malik Ashtar is just as, if not even more relevant to us today.
May Allah SWT help us return to the noble wisdom of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and his loyal companions, may Allah bless them.

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was the most loving compassionate man of his time, who strived for a lasting peaceful union of the people of Arabia under the Divine guidance of Allah SWT, setting a most beautiful wise example of what we should create elsewhere.
Do not feed the fears of islamophobes by being the exact opposite. Be the means of carrying Allah’s Divine Love, Peace and Kindness to every region of the Earth and beyond.

Although it may not seem to be the case, these girls are all biological sisters. Even more extraordinary, they are not just sisters, but two sets of twins. The girls were born to mixed ethnicity couple Dean Durrant and Alison Spooner. The eldest two; Hayleigh and Lauren are pictured holding their new twin sisters; Miya and Leah.
While this is incredibly rare, it’s a powerful sign from Allah SWT that we are all brothers and sisters in the same Human Family. Race is a corrupt man-made concept, just as Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, highlighted 14 centuries ago. Today, it’s high time we threw this evil concept in the trashcan of history, where it rightly belongs. All Humans are members of the same race, the Human Family, equitable in the sight of Allah SWT.
We live in such a beautiful and unique world, we need to ensure we are not among those who try to spoil it. Share if you agree!

I’ve been reflecting on a most interesting speech, by a great American General and President, a tremendous man to whom we in Britain and Europe owe in great part, our 20th Century deliverance from Nazi aggression.
While the Soviet Union is thankfully no more, the “Chance for Peace” speech by U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower resounds just as strongly with us today. As a Human Family, we must grasp the Chance of Peace and not throw it away yet again, through more wars that only destroy the lives, dreams and prosperity of everyone.
To ensure the future well-being of their own people, nations need to work together, mutually reducing armaments and striving to resolve any difficulties they face peacefully. If our Human Family invested just as much time and effort, as we do in developing and producing ever more sophisticated and lethal ways to destroy one another, instead in actually solving the challenges we all face living on this planet, there would be no reason to go to war in the first place. Indeed, we would realise just how counterproductive war is.
Like Eisenhower, I’m not a total pacifist; every nation has the right and indeed a moral responsibility to defend itself. Nevertheless, living in perpetual fear of destruction, expending vast accreted debt on arms, is not any kind of sensible defence, for it only guarantees future demise.
A most poignant consideration, is the damage this glorification of violence is having on our children… We can only wonder if violent incidents in schools, resulting in the brutal mass murder of our most innocent children, or massacres like the one we saw in Norway last year, would be so prevalent if it weren’t for the common acceptance of violence in our societies; brutality in movies, dramas, video games and other forms of popular entertainment.
We harvest the fruits of the seeds we sow… If we want to live in a more peaceful, prosperous world, we need to start sowing the seeds of Peace, instead of beating the drums of war.

Defend the Internet from the greedy banksters, crooked politicians, charlatan pastor-mullahs and other freaks who desire to destroy it!

Google is calling for a massive internet uprising in the wake of censorship bills that will ruin internet freedom forever! They have dedicated the page www.google.com/takeaction to raising awareness concerning this madness; it is very important that we continue to keep our Human Family’s link to one another open, to flourish freely.

Should the proposed changes go ahead, the internet will quite simply cease to be, as whatever would be left would no longer be the internet! Not only would this impact on our liberties, but it would harm our economies through reduced networking opportunities, damage the cause for representative government and destroy our Human Family’s hopes of a brighter, more peaceful world tomorrow, less restricted by national borders and the unnecessary conflict between nations.
On behalf of the future, we ask those of the past to leave us alone. You are not welcome among us. You have no sovereignty where we gather.
We the People of the Internet have no elected government, nor are we likely to have one; therefore we address those who would tyrannise us with no greater authority than that with which Liberty always speaks. We declare the global social space we are building to be naturally independent of the tyrannies you seek to impose on us.
Governments and corporations have no moral right to rule us, nor do they have the means to stop us!
Together we can and will move forward to bring into being a brighter tomorrow, but in order to do that, we all need to work together and defend the right to freely communicate without interference from greedy banksters, crooked politicians and charlatan pastor-mullahs who would stand in the way of our collective vision.
