“We wanted to favor those who were oppressed in the land, and make them leaders and make them inheritors of the land and to empower them and show Pharaoh, Haman and their soldiers through them the very thing that they feared”

In this week’s sohbet, I discuss oppression and tyranny and how can it be that there are Muslim leaders oppressing their people when Allah ﷻ highlights the evil of oppression within the Holy Quran? Allah ﷻ stands with the oppressed and supports their freedom from oppression.

Followed by the traditional weekly dhikr/meditation of the Naqshbandi tariqat.
