Salam alaikum and Jummah Mubarak!

I read and discuss Shaykh Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani’s advice on choosing a teacher of Islam, a shaykh or murshid, from the “Utterances of Shaikh ‘Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani” (Malfuzat), pages 46-51, translated by Muhtar Holland (1998).

May Allah ﷻ grant us to be humble, and guide our hearts in the ways of wisdom and understanding. Amin. 🤲🏻
