Salam alaikum! 🙏🏻
“Ask those of Our messengers We sent before you; did We ever appoint any deities besides the Merciful to be worshiped?”
~ Holy Quran 43:45 (Safi Kaskas)
“It is God who subjected the sea for you so that ships may sail with His approval and that you may seek His favor, and that you may give Him thanks. And He has subjected to you all that is in the heavens and on the earth; a blessing from Him. There are signs in this for people who reflect.”
~ Holy Quran 45:12-13 (Safi Kaskas)
In this week’s sohbet, I discuss Questions and how asking questions is important to our learning and development. Islam encourages us to ask questions, as is illustrated in the Holy Quran in these and other verses, where Allah ﷻ invites us to question in the pursuit of knowledge and improving our understanding of both religion and the universe (heavens) and the world in which we live.
Followed by the traditional weekly dhikr/meditation of the Naqshbandi tariqat.
