This week I read and discuss The First Letter of Fifteen Letters by Shaykh Abdul Qadir al-Jilani which concerns the initial stage of attraction by the Truth (jadhbat al-Haqq).

An interesting point about this letter, and indeed all the letters in the book, are the extensive references to the Holy Quran. Something to consider when people ask where Sufis get their Islam from and what are they following…
