Remembering Mawlana Shaykh Nazim who passed away 7 years ago today in the Hijri calendar on 8th Rajab 1435 AH (7th May, 2014).

One of the greatest shaykhs of the last century, who introduced Islam and the Naqshbandi order of Sufism to many communities in Europe and America, as well as supporting traditional Muslim communities around the world.

The Naqshbandi-Haqqani order he lead continues under the leadership and spiritual guidance of Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Adil and Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani, and supports countless Muslims and other people affiliated with the Sufi order internationally.

But the passing of such a luminous soul 7 years ago was a tremendous loss to Muslim communities around the world, one that continues to be felt to this day.

May Allah ﷻ eternally bless the soul of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim, raise his station in the Divine Presence, and continually bless his family, deputies, students, and friends. Allahumma salli ala sayyidina Muhammadin wa ala ali sayyidina Muhammadin wa barik wa sallim.
