I’m shocked at the way some England “fans” behaved after the match on Sunday.

Don’t they realise, the same players they unjustifiably attacked on nothing but the basis of the colour of their skin are the same players who helped take England to the final and will take the England team to their next victory? I’m deeply saddened and ashamed that after all these years, there are still people with such racist views in this country.

Have the cowardly racists not realised, the players that they are attacking are more loyal and patriotic to this country than them? After all, these football players are the ones playing for our country in international competitions, with all the sacrifices and hard work that entails, not posting cowardly messages of hate from behind a screen or keyboard.
