Salam alaikum and Jummah Mubarak!

This week I read and discuss whether we should celebrate Mawlid an-Nabi, by reading a Fatwa from the Awqaf of Dubai by Dr. Isa al-Mani al-Humayri reprinted in The Encyclopedia of Islamic Doctrine, Volume 3, “The Prophet: Commemorations, Visitation and His Knowledge of the Unseen” by Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani (1998).

Insha Allah, this helps to clarify this matter that has confused the hearts and minds of many Muslims in our time.
