Before we begin, my deepest and heartfelt condolences to my dear friend, Ridwan Kamil and his family on the passing of his son, Eril. May Allah grant Eril a place in the highest heaven, in the company of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the Awliya Allah, and grant Ridwan and his family patience and steadfastness at this most difficult of times. Al-Fatihah. Amin. 🤲🏻

This week, I do something a little different for this Friday Reflections, I read and discuss a paper sent to me for consideration by one of my students in Indonesia, Muhammad Tsany Qudsi on Amal Jariyah. He makes excellent points, so I thought it definitely well worth sharing these with you all.
