Salam alaikum and Jummah Mubarak!

Reading is highly encouraged and beneficial to our hearts and souls, especially reading the works of scholars and saints. I’m always amazed how relevant many of the words of great scholars and saints (Awliyah Allah) – especially the saints, can be, even after many centuries have passed.

This week I read and discuss part of The Fifty-First Discourse in The Sublime Revelation (Al-Fath ar-Rabbānī) by Shaykh Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani, translated by Muhtar Holland (p. 330-338).
