One of the biggest hurdles to belief is that Allah ﷻ chose human beings through which to reach out and guide humanity. But while they were human beings, in many respects like us, in their level of divine consciousness (taqwa), knowledge, and wisdom they were quite unlike the rest of us…

In the compassion, dedication, and love they lived in service to their communities, the prophets more than surpassed the best of the rest of us and lead the way for us to follow. In this is the secret, the prophets showed us the way, culminating in the lived example (Sunnah) of the last of the messengers of God, the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and all the messengers of God.

While human, they represent the best of humanity.
