“(Mention) when Moses (Musa) said to his family, ‘I think I see a fire. I will bring you information or I will bring you a burning torch that you may warm yourselves.’ But when he reached it, a voice called out to him: ‘Blessed is He who is in the fire and whoever is around it. And may God be exalted in His Glory, the Lord of the Worlds. Moses, It is I – God, the Almighty, the Wise.‘
‘Throw down your staff.’ But when he saw it moving it was if it were a snake, he ran away and did not turn (God said), ‘Moses do not be afraid. In My presence the messengers do not have anything to fear. I am Forgiving and Merciful to him who does wrong but (who then) replaces his bad deeds with good ones. And put your hand in your garment; it will come out white yet unharmed, one of the nine signs (you will take) to Pharaoh and his people. They have been disobedient people.
But when Our enlightening signs came to them, they said, ‘This is clearly magic.’ Even though they were convinced, they rejected them out of spite and pride. So consider what happen to those who spread corruption.”
